KYC (Know Your Customer) Policy

These policies have become increasingly important throughout the world recently, in order to prevent identity theft, money laundering, financial fraud and terrorist activity.
At Zoomtrader, we hold a strict zero tolerance policy when it comes to fraud, and we are taking every measure possible to prevent it. If we suspect any fraudulent activity is happening, it will be documented and all accounts related to it will be closed immediately. The funds in these accounts will be forfeited.

Prevention:

We aim to ensure integrity when it comes to obtaining sensitive data, such as transactions and account information, and we use a variety of security measure and fraud controls. In order to keep it secure, we require you to provide us with certain pieces of data from you, including your preferred deposit method.
When you deposit any funds we will require the following documents In order to complete the compliance procedure;
• A copy of a Valid ID* (Official Identity Card or Passport)
• Coloured copy of the front and back of the credit card used for the deposit, showing the first 6 and the last 4 numbers in the front along with the name and expire date. Everything else should be covered (specifically the CVV number on the back for your own protection).
• Proof of Address up to three months old.Documents accepted are any of the following:
– Utility bill: water, gas, electricity, landline, cell phone, internet.
– Bank statement or letter
– Insurance letter/bill showing Policy number
– Payslip: Showing company details
– Tax statements
– Government issued statements (Town Hall or Police)

When do I need to provide these documents?
We require all of the necessary documents as soon as you can, in order to avoid any delays in making your transactions. We require the receipt of all the necessary documents prior to making any cash transactions to your benefit or immediately after your first deposit.
In certain circumstances, we may be required to request these documents before we allow any other activities in your account, such as deposits or trades.
Please note, until your trading account has been Compliance approved within 7 days after your first deposit, your trading account will remain suspended. While suspended you will not be able to deposit, trade, or withdraw any funds, until your account is approved and fully activated.

How can I send you these documents?
Your documents can be scanned, or a picture can be taken with a high quality digital camera, save the images as JPEGs and then send it to us via email to [email protected] or you can upload the document in the Compliance Section on our website.

How do I know my documents are safe with you?
Your security is our main priority at Zoomtrader, which is why we treat every document we receive with the utmost respect and confidentiality. All the files that we obtain are fully protected using the highest level possible of encryption at every step of the review process.
